Job Responsibilities

Our team seeks an intern with the skills and curiosity to assist in Hexion's new product investigations

  • Conduct market research related to new product ideas for Hexion; gather and synthesize relevant information about the product market space
  • Participate in customer discovery (voice-of -the-customer) sessions
  • Assist in the development of the business case (economic justification) for new product ideas
  • Offer insights and perspectives for potential new product ideas
  • Participate in the development of new product launch plans including digital and social media strategies

Minimum Qualifications

  • Junior or rising Senior in undergraduate studies inbusiness, marketing, economics, engineering or finance
  • Strong project management skills; proven ability to prioritize projects and work effectively under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in online social media and web tools

Education Requirements

  • Junior or rising Senior in undergraduate studies inbusiness, marketing, economics, engineering or finance
