Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Resort Greeter to join our team and provide a warm welcome to all arriving guests at the resort. Responsibilities include warmly greeting and welcoming arriving guests, maintaining knowledge of parking rates, hours of operation, and procedures, and being familiar with daily occupancy and group activities. The role involves maintaining complete knowledge of computer and manual systems, setting up and organizing the workstation, and acknowledging all guests arriving and departing the resort. Additionally, the Greeter will be knowledgeable about hotel services, local attractions, and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately and promote positive guest relations. They will also provide accurate directions for destinations within the local area and be empowered to resolve any guest issues. Furthermore, the Greeter will distribute parking tickets to guests for valet and self-parking and assist with moving barriers to provide access to the loading dock for vendors or associates. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, be detail-oriented, and maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome all arriving Guests to the Resort.
  • Maintain knowledge of all parking rates, hours of operations and procedures.
  • Be familiar with daily occupancy, expected business and group activities and special/discount group parking rates
  • Maintain complete knowledge of computer and manual systems and procedures.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment, use equipment only as intended.
  • Setup and organize workstation with designated supplies, forms and resource materials; maintain cleanliness at all times. Report shortages to supervisor.
  • Acknowledge all guests arriving/departing the Resort.
  • Be familiar with all hotel services/facilities and local attraction/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately. Promote positive guest relations.
  • Relay accurate directions on inquiries regarding destinations within the local area.
  • Be empowered to resolve any guest opportunities.
  • Distribute appropriate parking tickets to guest for both Valet (Day Use and Overnight) and Self-Parking.
  • Assist by moving the barriers blocking our Spa lot access to any vendor or associate that will need access to the loading dock for any drop or pick up.
