SIG SAUER is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Consultants to join our world-class team. As an Internal Consultant, you will serve as an internal resource to our staff, helping them to perform discovery on business processes, strategy and challenges, develop problem solving and strategy frameworks and hypotheses, test hypotheses via experimentation and analysis, document recommendations and create and execute strategies to help their businesses to grow and to solve their most pressing operational challenges. You must have an analytical and creative mindset, be comfortable working in an ever-changing environment, and be able to think strategically to drive successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • In this role you will help your internal customers solve some their most pressing problems
  • You will work with a range of experts in the company to develop processes and solutions relevant to a wide variety of issues within the company.
  • You'll work with your internal customers to identify, and implement, solutions for the specific customer problems or challenges they are facing
  • You will work with your customers to help them put in place processes and solutions to improve their performance and achieve their goals.
  • Over the course of each project, you will gather and analyze information, formulate, and test hypotheses, and develop and communicate recommendations
  • You'll also present results to various levels of management and implement recommendations in collaboration with feedback from your customers and management
  • Work effectively with diverse teams to come up with the best solution and motivate your customers to implement the identified solutions
  • Establish trust-based relationships with your customers so they see you as a valued member of their teams enabling you to better serve their businesses
  • Communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior leaders, in a structured manner

Qualifications

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization
  • Capability to drive an independent workstreams in the context of a broader company project
  • Ability to break down and solve problems through qualitative frameworks and quantitative thinking and analysis
  • Structure ambiguous problems and take action to solve them
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

Requirements:

  • To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, such as Operations Management, Business Administration, IT, Supply Chain or Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years of work in management, process, or operations consulting (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
  • Deep understanding of the key drivers of business, process, and operational issues and solutions to solve these issues, and a strong desire to want to learn about and develop competency in addressing a range of business issues/problems across a broad set of functions
  • Proficiency or experience within functional verticals including Marketing, Process Improvement, Supply Chain is desirable
  • Advanced proficiency with analytical tools such as Excel and Access, programming, or statistics programs is required
  • The ideal candidate has an "A" type personality: passionate and high energy, creative problem-solving skills, and the capability to get things done
