Job Description

Patrona Corporation is looking for a full-time Logistician to provide support to the Submarine Maintenance Engineering Planning and Procurement (SUBMEPP) activity in Rotatable Pool Programs.

This task will support the Advanced Equipment Repair Program (AERP); Corporate Component Repair Program (CCRP); and TRIDENT Rotatable Pool Program (TRIPER).

Location: SUBMEPP facility on the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, ME.

Remote Work: This position does not allow remote work.

Security Clearance: Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school/vocational school degree or GED certificate.
  • 3 Years of professional experience with public shipyard business processes and project management for submarine availabilities.
  • Experience with Auto CAD software.
  • Experience with preparing technical documents, performing technical research, and Navy database manipulation.
  • Knowledge and experience with the Navy Integrated Logistic System (ILS).
  • Experience with the Advanced Equipment Repair Program (AERP); Corporate Component Repair Program (CCRP); and TRIDENT Rotatable Pool Program (TRIPER).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and revise Procurement Specifications to acquire new pool assets; and Refurbishment Instructions to support refurbishment of off-loaded components.
  • Develop and revise rotatable pool support documents provided to shipyards with pool components to include Interchangeability Data Sheets and Information Notebooks.
  • Develop component illustrations using CAD software.
  • Maintain program databases including archiving of data packages.
  • Conduct component data research including analysis of repair data and actual problem situations.
  • Perform technical reviews of rotatable pool initiatives for future platforms.
  • Prepare program briefs, technical analysis reports and correspondence as requested.

Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Technical writing to provide technical documentation, and correspondence.
  • Capable of providing technical analysis reports.
  • Capable of delivering program briefs and reports.
