Verifies the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders. Compares identifying information with bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records. Verifies that materials received are as ordered. May route incoming items within the company as directed. Maintains related records.

Essential Job Duties
Conducts system data maintenance; maintains document files.
Maintains department vacation schedule. Reviews payroll data before weekly submission.
May perform other duties as required.

Scope of Responsibility
Somewhat independent; work frequently done independently by following practices and procedures while occasionally having work checked.

Supervisory Responsibility
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Language Ability: Ability to read and write. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems and draw basic conclusions.
Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, and Internet software.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent; or 2 - 4 years related experience and/or vocational or technical training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, and walk. The employee must occasionally stoop or kneel.

Work Environment
Office and warehouse noise levels are usually moderate.
