The Plaistow YMCA is seeking experienced Gymnastics Coach to join our team and lead children and youth as we build upon an already excellent program. Opportunities available for High Level, Low Level and Excel coaches. Coaches must be enthusiastic, knowledgeable, compassionate, with a passion to lead and assist others to meet gymnastic goals.

Essential Functions:

• Teach youth and teen recreational classes to promote team participation
• Inspire the youths in our community by serving as their greatest role models
• Watch the hard work pay off when gymnist succeed in practices and at competitions
• Build long-lasting, genuine relationships with Y staff and families
• Help teens build essential life skills

• Previous experience coaching Xcel Bronze & Silver and/or JO Levels 3 - 5 (minimum)
• Experience working in a competition setting
• General knowledge of Xcel or JO Compulsory Code of Points
• SafeSport Certified (or completed within 15 days of hire)
