Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite for our client in Exeter, NH. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The client seeks a Temporary Buyer to perform purchase order contract activities related to Material Requirements Planning and engage with supplier management, including delivery performance, expediting, and file maintenance.
  • Execute MRP signals for the creation and issuing of Purchase Orders
  • Manage supplier performance for on-time delivery and quality KPIs
  • Communicate/collaborate with Manufacturing Teams to meet production needs.
  • Resolve supplier invoice discrepancies.
  • Identify qualified sources and onboard new suppliers.
  • Engage in Continuous Improvement and problem-solving activities.
  • Resolve discrepant material and quality issues.
  • Execute contracts and follow Government FAR/DFAR regulations.

Here's what you'll get:

  • Pay $24.59-$30.13/hr
  • Hours: 8/40 Hr/Wk (1st Shift).hybrid schedule (two days at the office).
  • Length: Temp (6 Months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1-year Buyer manufacturing experience

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel reporting
  • Support internal customer requirements from Operations, Quality, and Accounting; strong communication and organization skills are necessary.
  • Basic knowledge of MRP concepts and execution
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with negotiation and supplier management skills.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
