Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Continuous Improvement Engineer will be responsible for leading and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, increase operational efficiency, and drive cost savings. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving process improvement and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute continuous improvement projects and initiatives, utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant methodologies to streamline processes and enhance operational performance. Identify and analyze operational inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement through data collection, process mapping, and root cause analysis. Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste, improve quality, and increase productivity throughout the organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on improvement goals and facilitate change management as necessary. Monitor and report on the progress of improvement projects, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and ROI analysis. Provide training and mentorship to team members to build a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. Drive a culture of problem-solving and innovation, fostering a mindset of continuous improvement throughout the organization. Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in continuous improvement to bring new ideas and approaches to the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in continuous improvement roles with a track record of successfully leading improvement projects.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma (e.g., Black Belt or Master Black Belt) is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in process improvement tools and methodologies, such as DMAIC, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and Kaizen.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects to achieve desired results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with change management and the ability to drive cultural transformation.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and applications.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
