We are currently seeking a Field Marketing Intern to join our team! This is your chance to gain real-time experience in marketing and event coordination to help shape your career.

We are looking for an Intern to work 20-30 hours per week during the Spring to help us coordinate local events in the Great Falls, MT area. We offer a flexible schedule and are seeking someone that has availability to work evenings and weekends.

Pay: The base pay rate offered for this position is expected to be $17/hour.

Intern Resources:

Our interns partner with seasoned professionals to help with executing high-priority company projects and day-to-day operational activities. As an intern, TDS offers you:

    Access to an Intern Associate Resource Group (ARG). This group's purpose is to support you by providing extra resources for development, opportunities for internal advancement, and forums to connect with other interns throughout the company. ARG meets once per month to allow you to hear from other interns about their projects, as well as leaders within our organization about their team. They host networking events to grow your connections within the organization with the goal of finding full-time employment by your graduation.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

Support the Marketing team (AM-Field Marketing) on marketing events and projects to meet goals. This may include, but is not limited to:

  • Coordination of materials used at community events, parades and pop up events, and engaging with potential customers to support all activities in the market.
  • Managing materials used to collect customer information for the sales team for lead generation follow up.
  • Coordinating, tracking and ordering promotional items, ordering food, organizing entertainment and assuring proper set up.
  • Creating promotional content for marketing events in collaboration with local marketing team.
  • Managing promotional inventory.
  • Representing TDS on external events and engaging with the community.
  • Continuously gaining knowledge on TDS products and services to answer questions regarding TDS products and services
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends

Benefits

Associates scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week have access to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off benefits such as vacation (15 days accrued per year for full-time; pro-rated for part-time associates working between 20-39 hours), sick leave (10 days accrued per year for full-time and pro-rated for all other associates), seven paid national holidays and one floating holiday, paid parental leave (2 weeks after 12 months of employment), among others. Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability coverage is also available for associates working 30 or more hours per week and Education Assistance is available to full-time associates. Associates scheduled to work under twenty hours per week or for a limited term (i.e. interns) are eligible for medical coverage, the 401(k) plan (if 18 or older), as well as sick leave (10 days accrued per year for full-time and pro-rated for all other associates).
