Description

The Student Support Worker I position is designed for those just entering the workforce as a learning opportunity. The Student Support Workerwill be working closely with Facilities Maintenance on land care, and will learn a multitude of tasks and skills by performing patching and painting work along with other activities. This is a first shift position, but hours can be flexible for the right candidate.

Position Specific Responsibilities

  • Communicate with direct supervisor on a daily basis regarding progress and new
    assignments.
  • Partners with Facilities on patching and painting projects.
  • Assist with landscaping: planting, pruning, spreading mulch, and related activities.
  • Support and maintain overall efficiency by keeping work areas clean and safe.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Parental approval required.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent (may be in process).
  • Interest in manufacturing and production helpful.
  • Basic understanding of MS Office: Outlook desired, Word, and Excel helpful.
  • Good math skills and clerical skills helpful.
  • Must agree not to perform any hazardous work.
