Step Into Your New Role
We are seeking a Water / Wastewater Project Engineer with 4 - 6 years of experience for our New Hampshire / Maine area offices! This position can sit in our Augusta or Portland, ME offices or Manchester, NH office.
The Engineer will participate in and contribute to a diverse range of engineering services in our dynamic environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure planning, design, and construction projects. You will work with a talented team of professionals with sought after experience in water resources planning, distribution and collection systems design, construction management, and trenchless technologies. The candidate will contribute a multi-disciplinary perspective on water and wastewater projects. This position requires the ability to excel working in team environments. Candidates must have a strong work ethic and an interest in working in the infrastructure engineering field.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    Develop technical design support on water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects while adhering to national and local requirements
  • Perform calculations and convey results and processes effectively
  • Help coordinate and/or lead project related field reconnaissance and site work
  • Work as part of a design team and in multi-disciplinary groups and convey ideas and recommendations over technical expertise boundaries
Position Competency Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred) from an accredited program in Civil, Environmental, or a related engineering field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) preferred, but all motivated individuals are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates must possess excellent organizational, communication, computer and technical writing skills.
  • Experience in infrastructure design, preparation of design plans and specifications, including cost estimating, scheduling and permitting and construction preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
