Position Details:

Creative Designer - Concept, design and edit for the web, a wide variety of direct mail pieces, tradeshows and other multi-channel marketing with strong application skills and great conceptual ability. Work closely with marketing team members, planners and business partners to identify market objectives and the strategies to meet them. Brainstorm and design against moderately complex campaign objectives to develop concepts with creative team. Implement objectives into effective marketing communications.

You will report to the Director of Brand, Creative and GCAN Marketing

Please note that this a Hybrid role, which requires in-person attendance in Lake Forest, IL headquarters

You Will:
  • Interpret campaign objectives to concept and develop impactful creative solutions for multi-channel integrated campaigns

  • Articulate and present concepts in visual, written and verbal form

  • Form and apply the voice and design best-practices across all segments and channels to ensure consistent execution

  • Apply design and production processes and tools for continuous improvement

  • Adhere to schedules and maintain quality work

  • Build and maintain good working relationships with internal and external partners

You Have:
  • 3+ years professional experience

  • BA/BS/BFA required (MA a plus) in visual communications, graphic design, advertising, marketing, or communications-related field

  • Demonstrated success in a large multi-channel organization and/or agency

  • Comprehensive design/production/editing skills for multi-channel direct response marketing

  • Functional knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - (InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, etc.)

  • Working knowledge of CMS, email development, HTML and CSS
