The Systems Support Analyst provides analysis to support the documentation, development, and maintenance of applications and websites for Merchants. This individual will work with business analysts, subject matter experts, and Agile development teams to document business rules/requirements, maintain/enhance existing systems, brainstorm fixes and solutions, create features and user stories, and support the development team in implementation.

This individual will leverage a deep understanding of the Agile/Waterfall hybrid framework and software development lifecycle, in collaboration with the product team and Application Architects, to break down features into clear and accurate user stories and supporting artifacts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate product enhancements and issues into actionable user stories.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and troubleshooting of software challenges, identifying root causes and brainstorming solutions.
  • Manage ticket triaging, defect management, and user acceptance testing.
  • Facilitate meetings to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and conduct product trainings.
  • Document existing processes and design future state processes, identifying areas for improvement.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Skills:

  • MS Office
  • Experience using Miro collaboration tool a plus
  • 1 year of Working Knowledge in Azure DevOps, Jira or used equivalent tool
  • UI Prototyping or Mockup tools (Balsamiq, Axure, Visio, Adobe, etc.)
  • 1 year of interpreting data using SQL queries

Experience:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field
