Lindt & Sprungli (North America) Inc. provides services to various Lindt Subsidiaries in North America including Lindt USA, Ghirardelli Chocolate Company, and Russell Stover Chocolates LLC. You will be part of a 60+ core team of IT professionals supporting the various North American Lindt subsidiaries and providing value.

As an IT Business Partner Manager (Operations), you will help business leaders shape their strategies with technology solution implementations and product adoptions, thereby creating and managing trust and strong relationships. You will act as the single point of contact between an organization's senior management and IT teams, providing clarity and accountability to business.

You will come prepared to advocate and showcase product portfolios and identify needs for additional value delivery or integration between product groups. You will be a trusted advisor in providing awareness, direction, and guidance to business stakeholders to receive the best value and innovations. Developing a deep understanding of the Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics operations of the organization and maintaining strong relationships with relevant business leaders will be critical to your role.

You will also take an active role in shaping demand, defining product roadmaps, managing vendors, and building & guiding a team of two IT Business Partners. You come with strong hands-on SAP PP-PI/QM / EWM expertise and sound Manufacturing, Quality Management, and Warehouse and Logistics business knowledge.

This position is offered in Stratham, NH or Kansas City, MO, and requires around 25% to 50% travel, based on projects and business needs.

Essential Functions

  • Manage relationships between IT organization and the Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics functions throughout the life cycle of the product groups and along the business' own life cycles.
  • Ensure that IT team understand the business strategy and context definition of new products & solutions required to support business needs or for decision of product retirement.
  • Provide the link between specific business initiatives, projects or programs, and IT in order to identify, forecast, and deliver value.
  • Qualify demands based on product qualification checklists or identify opportunities based of product portfolio knowledge mapped to business capabilities in scope.
  • Gather high-level business requirements & context and identify product candidates for nonstandard demands.
  • Responsible for complex highly configurable products or for needs requiring multi-product integration, facilitates discovery, and scoping by mobilizing appropriate stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the development of business cases and guide the business in effectively investing in standard products or solutions and the innovation services.
  • Defines, develops, and manages product vision, strategies, and roadmaps.
  • Leverages an uncompromised approach to change management as it affects people, process, and adoption of technology.
  • Oversees product success, end to end (market assessment through product implementation and support); defines quality and control objectives, critical success factors and measures compliance and KPIs.
  • Influences improvements of complex business and IT processes to enhance company performance.
  • Understands interdependencies and constraints across teams; guides cross team collaboration / prioritization.
  • Effectively communicates plans and priorities at all levels and aligns across teams.
  • Translates business strategies/goals into IT action plans to drive improvement of company performance, mentor's others.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and ability to understand and support end-to-end business processes: Production (Process Manufacturing), Co-packing / Co-manufacturing, Quality Management, Batch Management, Batch Traceability and logistics.
  • Understand the interaction of Production (PP-PI), Quality Management, and Warehouse Management (EWM) processes with other business processes and SAP modules (mainly IBP, PPDS, MM, FI/CO, and SD).
  • Define solution standards and ensure delivered work meets technical, functional, performance, and business requirements as well as best practices.
  • Execute and lead testing process (Unit, UAT and integration tests)
  • Support applications, facilitate changes, respond to tickets, and train end-users.
  • Aid in the management of third-party vendors

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial or Production Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field
  • 8+ years' experience in Information Technology including program/project management and business or experience as an SAP PP-PI/QM solution architect.
  • 4+ years' experience in implementing and supporting SAP PP-PI/QM application solution.
  • 4+ years' experience in implementing and supporting SAP EWM application solution.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the end-to-end business processes: Plan-to-Produce including Quality & Supply Chain Management
  • Thorough understanding & hands on expertise in SAP PP-PI/QM and EWM module functions and features, including ability to leverage full capabilities of SAP to realize business needs.
  • Familiarity of the underlying technical underpinnings of SAP, preferably S/4 HANA
  • Good team player with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Exceptional skill in relationship building and team collaboration.
  • Experience in managing a team; providing leadership & guidance to team members and actively maturing the BRM discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in SAP PP-PI/QM / EWM
  • Working knowledge of SAP Analytics tools - AfO, SAC, Datasphere
  • Innate ability to identify the root cause of issues or problems.
  • Skilled and experienced at conflict negotiation and problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of and experience in the consumer goods industry
  • Project management certification(s)
  • SAP certification(s)
  • APICS or similar certification(s)
