Job Overview

Provide excellence in customer service with regard to tool repair and shipping procedures. Technically assists customers with tool components and inputs all information into computer.

Shift 1

Hours: 7:00AM to 3:30PM

Days: M-F

A Day In The Life
  • Talkwith customers by phone, schedule, and placetool repair orders on the computer.
  • Placeorders and determinepricing for new replacement tools.
  • Maintainthe Burndy Tool Maintenance System files.
  • Maintainand distribute sales drawings.
  • Assistwith receiving in of customer returned tools.
  • Develop ContinuousImprovement projects.
  • Perform preliminary tests on tools repaired to determine estimates.
  • Create outbound shipments for repaired tools.
  • Prioritize repairs for the tool repair technical team.
  • Provide reporting on tool repair aging, revenue, and repair throughput.

What will help you thrive in this role?
  • Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • SAP experience a plus
  • MS Office proficient
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Prior Customer Service experience preferred
