Pay: $64,000-$67,000 + incentives

The Wealth Administrator's primary function is to facilitate the sale and service of nontraditional investment and insurance products to qualified buyers. Products include fixed, indexed and variable annuities, mutual funds, Advisory Accounts, Wrap Accounts, Medicare, and others. Sales are dependent on the needs and suitability for the client, availability of the contracted broker-dealer, and the registrations or insurance licenses held. Secondary products include Life, Long Term Care, and related protection plans.

Work involves extensive communication including, but not limited to, verbal, written and electronic, interaction, and collaboration with people on a daily basis in order to provide exemplary service. Role is remote optional.

50%

1. By using phone and related techniques to make and coordinate sales and service appointments, make on or offsite presentations, and complete all necessary paperwork on successful sales, including funds transfers.

2. Meet with referred or walk-in members to review their specific financial needs and recommend suitable solutions using products and services provided through our broker-dealer.

3. Initiate paperwork involving cancellations, surrenders, and/or partial withdrawals and handle refunds.

4. Maintain effective relationships with credit union staff in assigned territory hold meetings, answer questions, provide referral training as needed.

5. Service clients as needed on a periodic basis, with at least annual contact.

6. Comply with all current laws, rules, policies and procedures set forth by federal and state security regulatory agencies as well as the broker/dealer and stay current with all changes.

7. Medicare Sales will be an important focus area for this role

8. Uncover opportunities to sell ancillary products such as life and long term care insurance.

1. The WA will attend or facilitate meetings of the credit union as deemed necessary by VP.

2. The WA will have responsibility for all centralized Wealth Reporting and interact with LPL and affiliates to manage and coordinate reporting.

3. Responsible for centralized wealth training for Credit Union branch staff.

4. Refer clients to the credit union for its services.

5.. Maintain an orderly workplace that conforms to regulatory requirements.

1. Responsible for centralized financial planning for all Advisors

2. Responsible for centralized social media management and electronic marketing campaigns for all Advisors. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Performance Measurements:

1. Ensures investment and insurance business is processed in a timely manner following internal and broker-dealer time and quality standards.

2. Generate sales and productivity based on mutually established annual goals. These activities may be reviewed as frequently as weekly.

3. Participates in staff meetings and NECU staff referral training as needed.

4. Produces suitable business for members and services assigned investment accounts as needed.

5. Keeps supervisor and department staff appraised of any situation requiring their expertise.

6. Maintains license and registration continuing education requirements as well as those of NECU.

7. Keep up to date in all required compliance and credit union training.


Experience:

Three years to five years of similar or related experience in position(s) requiring extensive personal member contact with emphasis on problem solving.

Demonstrate superior member relations skills. Excellent organizational ability. Analytical ability to comprehend complex products, services, and related regulations.

Education:

Equivalent to a college degree (BS or BA in a relevant field).

NASD Series 7, Series 66 and 63 registrations and Life/Accident and Health licenses.

Continued employment is contingent on maintaining appropriate licenses registrations, and a clean U4.
