JOB SUMMARY
The Respiratory Aide is responsible for performing multiple duties that require an expertise in the assembly, transport, disinfection, calibration and troubleshooting of respiratory related equipment. The Respiratory Aide works under the direction of a Respiratory Therapist. The Respiratory Aide is responsible for maintaining an appropriate level of equipment in the various respiratory work areas and assisting the Respiratory Therapists in providing directly supervised non-therapeutic patient care activities and assist with emergent basic life support activities consistent with required training and Wentworth-Douglass Hospital policy. The Respiratory Aide conducts other assigned tasks by the Respiratory Therapist in keeping with the Respiratory Therapy Aide's defined duties and the New Hampshire

Performs routine assembly, maintenance and cleaning of various types of Respiratory Care Equipment.
