Description

Primary Function: The Client Manager II is responsible for all aspects of human capital and payroll management for contacts and assists clients in the process of obtaining information for payroll production and tax related issues. This is an on-site position.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Verifies totals, responds to and helps resolves client questions and problems
* Manages integration of employee benefits, time and labor systems, payment transfers and other human resource direction.
* Maintains a base of over 100 payroll/HCM/Benefits clients
* Functions independently to assist clients in maintaining human resource and payroll data including salary adjustments, special payments, tax allocations, employee deductions and payroll schedules.
* Accurately imports or keys all payroll related data necessary to process and meet appointment schedules
* Consults with clients relating to taxability of SEC 125 plans
* Assists with integration of employee benefits from new hire to carrier to termination
* Maintains a high rate of client retention through quality service
* Develops strong positive client relationships by being the point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining open lines of communication
* Maintains current knowledge of industry trends, new product information, legislation and technology
* Regular and reliable attendance required

Qualifications:
Education/Designations
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Associate's Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred

Skill Requirements
* Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel and/or G Suite products including Gmail, Docs word processing, Sheets, and Drive cloud storage
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Displays strong customer service skills
* Organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Projects professional appearance and manner
* Self-starter with the ability to be flexible
* High attention to detail
* Good problem solving skills
* Strong writing skills

Work Experience

* 4+ years of office-related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Strong understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws

Physical Requirements
* Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, producers, carriers and staff
* Ability to stand or sit at a workstation during a standard workday
* Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and printer
* Ability to move about the office to access office machinery and supplies

Mental Requirements
* Ability to work and meet challenging deadlines and expectations
* Job entails meticulous attention to detail
* Must perform well with frequent interruptions or distractions
* Ability to quickly adjust priorities, focus and direction as circumstances dictates
