Job Description

The Implementation Manager, is part of the Ecolab operations team and works very closely together with the customer EWC program manager, EWC dedicated expert team, the F&B and NW field teams. The Implementation Manager works full time at assigned customer site and is responsible for the execution of the projects that are covered in the roadmap and agreed with customer corporate management. The Implementation Manager will lead the projects, facilitates the necessary resources and equipment on time, reports the progress on a weekly base to the EWC and local team. This position reports to the F&B district manager.

Manage and Execute EWC Roadmap Projects

  • Prepares the implementation schedule based on the provided roadmap with a detailed description of activities (by week), timelines, internal and external resources, equipment installation.
  • Leads and coordinates the projects agreed for by quarter.
  • Is responsible for the timely implementation of the agreed projects.
    Document delays and root causes timely and precisely.

Communicate with Internal & External Stakeholders

  • Prepares and communicates the quarterly projects overview which are connected to the performance-based fees.
  • Communicates on a weekly base to the Ecolab program manager the progress of the projects.
  • Supports the CAM team with invoicing of the agreed fees.
  • Is available to answer questions over the projects by the brewery at first contact.
  • Able to explain the principles of the agreement to external stakeholders.

Manage and Direct Resources

  • Manages the necessary support by the brewery, Ecolab resources and external partner resources on time.
  • Is responsible for sign-off of projects.
  • Raises issues on time and participates in exploring possible solutions.
  • Ask for timely help in case of conflicts, progress blockers etc.

Basic Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)

  • At least 2 years' experience in an industrial setting
  • Bachelors degree, preferably chemical or mechanical, engineering, food technology

Preferred Qualifications (Ideal Profile)

  • Project management experience
  • Affinity with food & beverage processing, quality management
  • Clear communicator (written-verbally) to internal and external (brewery) stakeholders at different levels (shop floor, experts, brewery management, corporate management).
  • Organized: Works in a structured way and reports in a transparent way
  • Ability to influence without direct authority, this position will manage and coordinate projects done by vendors, Ecolab employees, and customer employees
  • Delivers results on time in full.
  • Understand Ecolab value proposition for industrial customers
  • Able to explain in a compact and transparent way to our external and internal stakeholders, the benefits and value of the offered Ecolab solutions.
  • Knows how to get the right information internally from other experts and from the commercial team.
  • Can work under time pressure.
  • Strong relationship building skills with both internal and external stake holders.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results through others, managing task tension and competing priorities including delegating and escalating effectively.
