Job Description

As AVP Global Corporate Accounts, Bioprocessing for Purolite, an Ecolab company, you will develop the strategy to expand Purolite's market share in the chosen Global Corporate Accounts (GCA's), and prepare and stablish Corporate Account Program across the globe. Highly accomplished in global corporate account leadership with a passion for fast-moving and growing businesses, you will build, develop, and manage a high performing sales team in the region, and collaborate with various functions in the organization to drive achievement of corporate account sales objectives.

Position Details:

  • Location: United States of America (Preferably based on East or West Coast, USA)
  • Reporting to: VP Sales, Purolite Global Bioprocessing

What You Will Do:

  • Assume direct responsibility of Sales, other financial and non-financial objectives related to Global Corporate Accounts (GCA's)
  • Deliver outsized business growth and market share increase in GCA's.
  • Create stretch goals and implementation plans that are high growth oriented and actionable.
  • Evaluate and understand the value proposition for each customer type and function.
  • Formulate and apply Account Strategies for the GCA's with special focus on United States
  • Develop and solidify executive relationship with C-suite, top decision makers and influencers at GCA's.
  • Work in tandem as a Hub and Spoke model with regional and specialist sales teams to get the desired outcomes at GCA.
  • Organize and coordinate all business activities in GCA's, leverage the breadth and depth of the company's products and solutions portfolio to create a total value delivered (TVD) to customers.
  • Collaborate extensively within the organization and outside with the customers.
  • Ensure regular reporting, feedback mechanism and CRM usage.
  • Build and develop a high performing GCA sales organization; hire, develop and retain top talent.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in biology or chemistry or engineering, or related field
  • 5 years and above experience in managing a Corporate Account Program at Global or US region level.
  • 5 years' and above experience in Downstream Bioprocessing Chromatography, Single Use Technologies, and/or filtration or Analytical chromatography experience, or 8 years in a closely adjacent offering/s in Biopharma Industry
  • 2 years and above experience in managing a team of Key or Corporate Account Managers at Global or US region level
  • In-depth knowledge of the Customers, and relationships with Key Customers, in the field of Downstream Bioprocessing Chromatography
  • Experience selling within the life sciences setting in the field of Biopharma Downstream Bioprocessing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS and/or MBA
  • Solid corporate account leader with strong track record of sales results delivery
  • Demonstrated self-starter with a bias for action who can operate at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Highly agile and adaptable in styles and approaches depending on situations.
  • Effective communicator and listener; Able to inspire the team and create followship.
  • Proven track record of building high performing organizations and delivering superior business results.
  • Ability to set clear and challenging goals while committing the organization to improved performance; tenacious and accountable in driving results.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty; able to adapt nimbly and lead others through complex situations.
  • Ability to recruit, engage, develop and retain top talent.
  • Demonstrated perseverance in the face of challenges and relentless commitment to higher standards.
  • Confident and decisive with a willingness to take calculated risks in leading the organization to pursue commercial excellence.
