The Environmental Analyst will provide essential research and project management support for all facets of the Plant's Environmenental and programs, including supporting operations assessments, benchmarking, communications development, data management, community activities, budgeting, and act as the Environmental Lead for the site. In addition, this role will manage the administration of the Plant's Environmental Management and Metrics System including document control and required records. Network with personnel at WHQ and other locations to ensure proper flow of information and the communication of required programs.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Provide support with the current Environmental data management process. Assist with the gathering and analysis of supply chain environmental data and the management of the CEMMS environmental management and metric database. Support the process to develop and maintain performance dashboards at the Plant level and presentations of data and findings. Support applications for Environmental rewards, communication, recognition and responses to Customer and other stakeholder requests. (35%)

2. Coordinate the activity of plant personnel to gather monthly energy, water use and solid waste disposal and recycling information along with budgeting requirements from the site. Perform process evaluations to assure accuracy of populated metrics, interpret information, format into standard units, prepare monthly comparative reports. (25%)

3. Assist with the development of energy reports for the Energy Network Team, develop individual plant monthly reports as needed to support our energy and water conservation and solid waste recycling efforts. (10%)

4. Support Community Affairs events and programs related to local Environmental objectives. (10%)

5. Assist with the monitoring of emerging environmental trends, programs and issues. (10%)

6. Attend Environmental/Community Affairs related forums and interact in internal company forums to share best practices and advance the environmental strategy as necessary. (10%)

Job Complexity:

  • Working independently, provide support to departmental and plant personnel and gather monthly energy information, interpret data and develop monthly, quarterly and year end budgeting and related reports. Utilize plant personnel to provide information and support energy conservation efforts.
  • Coordinate environmental management data and support plant and corporate programs to reduce, reuse and recycle water, wastewater and solid waste.
  • Assist with the roll-out of the CEMMS program and training to pant personnel on the various modules associated with the program including the energy, water and solid waste reporting modules.
  • Advanced understanding of MS Office especially, Excel and PowerPoint to develop reports associated with the CEMMS Energy and Environmental Databases. Ability to adapt to new software as needed.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4+ years' experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree
  • 5+ years' experience in a food manufacturing environment

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$47,600-$79,800

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
