Position Purpose
The Program Coordinator is engaged in the administrative activities of our comprehensive stewardship program. This position works with highly confidential information on a daily basis and uses discretion in sharing information with internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Skills & Knowledge
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills in a professional setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse constituency in a consistently positive and productive manner.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite and data entry experience.
  • Ability to manage shifting workloads and changing priorities with grace and tact.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team as necessary.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse community.
  • Brings joy and humor to the workplace.
Experience
  • Demonstrated business writing experience.
Education
  • Associate's Degree and two years relevant work experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications
Skills & Knowledge
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • High degree of comfort with complex systems and the desire and ability to learn new systems as needed.
Experience
  • Experience leveraging information systems and business practices to enhance donor experiences
  • Demonstrated writing experience preferably in the creation of donor communications and gift acknowledgements.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred and two years relevant work experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience

Schedule
Hours to be worked Monday - Friday between 8 am - 5 pm. Details to be agreed upon by candidate and hiring manager.

Key Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities
Project Coordination (60%)
  • Organizes, manages, and executes the communication deliverables for stewardship engagement programs based on donor behaviors such as: first time, tribute, consecutive, loyal, and other segments of our donor population.
  • Organizes, manages, and executes acknowledgment deliverables including the production, approval, and mailing of multiple print deliverables.
  • Organizes, manages, and executes stewardship tchotchke program including the production, approval, and inventory of gift items.
Data Management (40%)
  • Updates and executes on project management needs as assigned within our collaborative work environments such as Smartsheet.
  • Works closely with other team members in Advancement Services to ensure that we regularly capture and maintain key data points for all the programs overseen by Stewardship.
  • Develops various outputs, reports and files from multiple systems.
  • Has the ability to troubleshoot problems and recommend improvements to systems, reports, and other outputs.
