Position Summary

The Central Sterile Technician prepares equipment and aids physician during treatments and examinations of patients.

- May rotate between CSR and OR. May prepare rooms, sterilize instruments, equipment and supplies, and hand items to surgeon, obstetrician, or other medical practitioners.
- This is a new position due to growth/increased volume.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: High School Diploma or the equivalent (GED) preferred.

License/Certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant is preferred.

Experience: N/A
-
Participation in a program for Operating Room and/or Central Supply Technician is preferred
