Summary of Position | Under broad supervision, this position performs highly responsible work coordinating functions of the Registrar's Office related to Communications. Considerable independent judgement is exercised applying and adapting programmatic, departmental guidelines, policies, and procedures, and applying thorough knowledge of the operations and policies of the department and University. Works directly with supervisor, administrative support units, academic departments, deans' offices, faculty, and staff to support, train and troubleshoot related issues. Ensure compliance with related university policies and procedures. This position requires administrative, organizational, communications, public relations, and excellent technology skills. Flexibility and the ability to assess priorities and manage a wide variety of activities in a time-sensitive environment is crucial. Applicants should be confident, comfortable, and experienced in creating and publicly presenting content that is written clearly, effectively, and accurately in small and large groups with a variety of stakeholders. |
