Job ID: 18833
The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is looking for a cost analyst to provide program financial management from proposal development through program execution. As a Research and Development (R&D) organization, SDL primarily supports programs that require the development of new and innovative technologies. Though some similarities may exist from program to program, each program is unique and requires discrete assessment of the resources needed to meet the requirements outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) and contract. Cost analysts work closely with program managers, schedulers, and engineering teams to identify program resources and timelines to create proposal budgets and detailed cost volumes, and to perform financial tracking, analyzing, reporting, and forecasting for awarded programs. This position provides opportunities to work in a rewarding, team-oriented environment with room for upward and lateral mobility. Pay is commensurate with experience.
Required Qualifications:
SDL supports a variety of missions, including NASA's vision to reveal the unknown for the benefit of humankind and the Department of Defense's aim to protect our Nation on the ground, in the air, and in space. Our sensors, satellites, software systems, and science and engineering play an essential role in some important missions you've heard of, and others that you haven't. Join our team in our seventh decade of delivering mission success.
